Automatic unpacking of territory.


I will wholly admit that I haven’t gone back to Wild Terra 2 in quite a while, and a lot of that stems from one big, very notable reason; coming back to Wild Terra 2 really sucks. If you’re inactive for a week or so depending on your Dominium size you lose your spot on the map and have to rebuild your territory when you come back.

Which in itself is understandable, they need the space and a small map full of inactive players will make the game literally unplayable for new players actually trying to play. However it sucks because you have to manually place back everything and once you get a bunch of stuff that can be enough of a task that some just won’t bother coming back at all. Some like me.

Thankfully this week’s update improves that quite a bit. The good news is that unpacking a Dominium now places everything back where it was automatically. The less great news is that this only applies to Dominiums packed after the update came out. Which also makes sense.

Patch notes according to Discord:

Now, when unpacking a Dominium, buildings will automatically be placed in the same locations. For the most complete transfer, try to find places without mountains or cliffs.

Maybe I might come back to Wild Terra 2 to see what’s been up in the last year since I played.
