Netflix will exclusively debut GTA 6 gameplay footage this Thursday, August 27 via its Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look, which will remain exclusive to the streaming platform for six hours. Here's when you can watch the show as soon as it debuts, and when it will arrive on other platforms such as YouTube.
While the past week has seen persistent GTA 6 leaks hit the headlines, these short snippets of open-world footage feel like they have only scratched the surface of what Rockstar has been building. Here's hoping this week reveals a good sense of both protagonists, Jason and Lucia, and our best look yet at the game's world in high-definition.
The past few months have seen a steady uptick in activity promoting GTA 6 after Rockstar revealed the cover art for GTA 6 back in June. Some fans had expected the game's third trailer to debut shortly after, but Rockstar instead released a big batch of new GTA 6 screenshots, which tease all kinds of new details about the game.
It's now been more than 500 days since the arrival of Trailer 2 back in May 2025 — so long ago that when you go back and watch it, the trailer still has GTA 6's previous release date attached to it. But rather than debut its long-awaited Trailer 3 alongside preorders, Rockstar has now confirmed this meatier look at the game, which is now just days away.
Check below to see when you'll be able to watch Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look in your region, initially via Netflix, then later on YouTube and elsewhere. And finally, a reminder that GTA 6 itself is due out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026.
