Nintendo is celebrating 40 years of The Legend of Zelda with a rather gorgeous new Switch 2 Pro Controller (alongside the Switch 2 console and other accessories), but actually getting your hands on one has proved considerably harder than you might expect.
The Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition has been selling out at most major retailers, making it fairly difficult to lock down ahead of its October 29 release.
Thankfully, it's not quite impossible to find yet, with Walmart currently being the last major retailer I can find offering preorders. That said, stock has been extremely limited elsewhere, so if you've had your eye on this one, I wouldn't hang around too long before ordering.

Honestly, it looks fantastic. The left grip is black, while the right grip is a deep green, mirroring the contrasting colours used on the Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 controllers.
The front of the controller features a striking black-and-gold Triforce design, giving it a distinctly Zelda look without going completely overboard with the branding. It's easily one of the better-looking Switch 2 Pro Controller designs Nintendo has released, particularly if you're a longtime Zelda fan.
In fact, there are actually two versions of the controller to be aware of. The standard edition comes with the controller alone and is being sold by various retailers for $99.99, while Nintendo is also offering an exclusive bundle that includes a matching display stand for $109.99. Take your pick!
