B&H Photo is offering a pretty outstanding deal on an OLED gaming monitor well ahead of Black Friday. The 32" Samsung Odyssey G7 4K OLED gaming monitor, which normally retails for $1,100, is discounted to just $499.99 after a $400 off instant discount and an additional $200 coupon that's automatically applied during checkout. Note that there is a shipping charge (for me it's $18.30 to California). This is the lowest price I've seen for a 32" 4K gaming monitor from any brand.
The 32" 4K OLED monitor is my ideal gaming monitor for three reasons: (1) the 32" size is generous without being too large, (2) 4K offers an excellent 138ppi pixel density, and (3) you can't beat an OLED panel in image quality.
Save 55% Off the 32" Samsung Odyssey G7 4K OLED Monitor
The Samsung Odyssey G7 is a 32" native 4K (3840x2160) monitor with a maximum 165Hz refresh rate. If you drop down the resolution to 1080p, you can push the refresh rate to as high as 330Hz, which is great for FPS gamers. In addition to the high refresh rate, you get all the other advantages of an OLED panel including a near-instantaneous 0.03ms response time, near-infinite 1.5 million:1 static contrast ratio, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified black levels. It has both DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports and features AMD Freesync Premium Pro certification.
Samsung also backs the monitor up with a 3 year warranty that covers OLED burn-in.
