Amazon has added another Phantasmal Flames product to its Pokémon TCG stock list during Prime Day, although this one comes with another rather eye-watering price tag.

The Phantasmal Flames Booster Bundle is now available for $89.99 at Amazon, which works out at around $15 per booster pack. That's a lot of money to spend on six packs, but, surprisingly, Amazon isn't actually far off the current market rate.

TCGplayer currently lists the median price at $90, meaning Amazon has matched that price almost exactly. The current market rate is a little lower at around $84, but once you factor in delivery costs, Amazon's offer could once again prove to be the more convenient option.

Whether that makes $90 for six booster packs any easier to stomach is another question entirely.

Phantasmal Flames remains one of the more sought-after sets in the Mega Evolution era, helped considerably by its selection of valuable chase cards. The set's biggest prize is still Mega Charizard X ex, with several other cards commanding considerably more than the price of a standard booster pack.

So, if you're determined to rip some Phantasmal Flames packs during Prime Day, Amazon at least isn't asking for an outrageous premium compared to the wider market. Just don't expect this one to feel like the bargain of the century.

If you're keeping an eye out for Pokémon TCG restocks, our custom Amazon search tracker can help. It makes it easier to find sealed Pokémon products that are actually "sold and shipped" by Amazon, rather than listings from third-party sellers.

Phantasmal flames isn't the only Pokémon TCG product making a comeback during the Prime sale, either. The First Partner Illustration Series 3 set has also returned for just $34, alongside Destined Rivals ETBs for $125. Surging Sparks boosters are available for $18, with several other Pokémon TCG products also back in stock at around market price or lower.

But is it worth it? Only you can be the judge of that. The "market price" is often dictated by what the majority of people are willing to pay, but only you can decide if this if truely worth your money.

No matter how unfortunate it is, and how hard it is to find Pokémon TCG at MSRP, market value is often the price you have to pay now, even from big retailers like Amazon, as I mentioned.
