As Amazon abandons the plans for game development it never took particularly seriously, some of you may be wondering what’s going to happen to its small slate of published titles. And by that I mean Throne & Liberty.

Well the short answer is that NC (formerly NCSoft) is taking back publishing of the title. Global publishing will revert to NC with all assets safely maintained according to the press release. You’ll be able to keep your existing accounts, your characters, and everything that they are holding on to.

“Amazon Game Studios has been an excellent partner, and we’re grateful to have launched and maintained our MMO thus far with their team,” said FirstSpark Games CEO Moonyoung Choi. “Taking a more direct role in global publishing makes so much sense for us, and so we’re thrilled to lead the next chapter of Throne and Liberty directly as NC.”
