The LEGO community has long enjoyed the process of taking a seemingly normal set and turning it into the iconic Star Wars ship. LEGO has released a total of 12 official versions of the Millennium Falcon over the years, but one fan has taken it even further and created 19 alternate builds himself.

Brad Barber, known on Reddit as Minute_Food_2881, has made headlines before for his unique builds. You may recognize his name from the cursed Millennium Simba set last year. His most recent recreation utilizes the new LEGO Halloween Pumpkin Lantern that just released this August.

Unlike some of Barber's previous MOCs (My Own Creation), the Millennium Pumpkin has the added benefit of actually lighting up. The Halloween Pumpkin Lantern set includes a light brick that would normally only be activated by pressing the stem. According to Barber, the Millenium Pumpkin will also activate when you place it on the stand.

Like other alternate builds Barber has created, this version of the Falcon can be created entirely with pieces from the original set. The Halloween Pumpkin Lantern set includes a light brick which will shine forward when activated. All-in-all, it's an impressively spooky alternative to an actual Star Wars-themed build. The set is available at the LEGO Store for $29.99 and you can grab instructions for Barber's Millennium Falcon version from Rebrickable for $3 more.

Where to Buy The LEGO Pumpkin Lantern

Set #40872 is currently a LEGO Exclusive which means you can only buy it at the LEGO Store. That's generally the best place to buy LEGO sets, but because the price is under $30, it's not eligible for any of the gifts with purchase available now.
