Amazon-owned Woot has just kicked off its brand-new 'Fall in Love with Video Games' sale, and there's a surprisingly decent line-up for those looking to save a little extra, a little early.
While the next Amazon Prime member exclusive sale is coming up soon on October 6-7, alongside the big ol' sale season fast approaching with Black Friday and the rest, you might be more inclined to just wait out sales like this and look out for even better deals in the coming months. It's a wise choice, and one I'll never judge.
I still want to highlight a couple of decent deals from this Woot sale that I wouldn't expect to see again soon. Or, at least, they won't get any better than this.
The big highlight from the sale will undoubtedly be the Nintendo Switch 2 consoles. Nintendo has recently upped the price of these bad boys to $499.99 in the US, but you can actually pick up the console for just $389.99 instead. There are a couple of hoops you need to jump through, but for $110 in savings, it might be worth it.
Before the hoops, I will caveat by saying this is a 'Grade A Refurbished' Nintendo Switch 2, not new. In this economy, I wouldn't turn my nose up at refurb deals, as this is an almighty good offering for a console that is essentially as good as new.
Here's what Woot says about its 'Grade A Refurbished' Switch 2: "This item has been inspected and guaranteed to have minimal cosmetic damage & has successfully passed a full diagnostic test which ensures like-new functionality & removal of any prior-user's personal information. Unit includes OEM accessories and is packaged in a generic white or brown box."
To qualify for the deal, you'll need to shop the sale via the Woot app, which will grant you an additional 20% off the current list price. That brings it down to $409.99, $90 in savings, and a pretty great deal to start with. But if you've never shopped with Woot before, then you're in luck, as this will bag you an additional $20 off, bringing it down to $389.99, as I mentioned. No promo code required either, as the discount will be applied automatically at checkout.
I'd recommend creating a new account, adding the Switch 2 to your wishlist, and checking out on the mobile app to ensure you're getting the full discount.
Other notable deals in the sale, again with the bonus discounts applied via the Woot app, include Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for $34.99 (for new customers), or $39.99 for everyone else.
There's also the Switch Pro Controller - Zelda: TOTK Edition for $66.49 for new customers, and $75.99 for everyone else, alongside various discounts on Switch and Switch 2 games like Pokémon Legends Z-A, Mario Galaxy 1+2, Breath of the Wild, and plenty more, all up to 30% for a limited time.
It's worth it to download the Woot app and check out these bargains, as these will expire by the end of today, September 25, 2026. Short time frame, I know, but this is the best way to save as much as possible.
