We all know that the memory crisis is currently making it really hard to buy a gaming PC at reasonable prices, but gaming monitors are now some of the very best deals in gaming. Therefore, if you've already got a gaming rig, I couldn't recommend the upgrade enough.

The biggest problem with shopping around for a gaming monitor right now is that there are too many deals to pick from, so I've whittled it down to just five.

Starting at the bottom of the budget, we have a 1080p choice. Being VA, you aren't getting the wide viewing angles of an IPS or deep contrasts of an OLED, but you are getting a snappy monitor at a very good price.

Then, we've got two 1440p picks, one IPS and one mini-LED. Rounding out the list, we have a dual-mode 4K pick, and an ultra-cheap OLED gaming monitor.

I update our roundup of the best cheap gaming monitor deals every week, so I've developed a good sense of exactly how much you should expect to spend on a gaming monitor, and every one of these picks is a banger for the price point.

This KTC pick is a budget pick, and it knows it. The 100 Hz refresh rate is just okay; a VA panel means less good viewing angles and color accuracy, but it's a solid enough gaming monitor, and the cheapest I'd actually recommend right now. Remember to use the code "EDF38538" for the full discount

Pro MP275Q: was $179.99 now $119.99
A truly budget way of getting a 1440p monitor, this MSI model has a 27-inch screen, 300 nits of peak brightness, is FreeSync enabled, and has a response time of 1 ms. You may notice some of that price point in the 'fine' 100 Hz response time, but otherwise, this is a solid choice.

Our Jeremy adores the M27T6S and its eye-popping mini-LED performance. It's not the cheapest 1440p gaming monitor out there, but it is budget-friendly for a mini-LED one. It looks truly phenomenal, is genuinely bright, and has solid specs all around. Make sure to use code BTSF2957 at checkout to get the discount.

Nitro VG270K L1bmiipx: was $229.99 now $179.99
This is on the budget end of 4K monitors, and you feel it. 72 Hz at 4K is very low, but still, getting 4K for a decent bit under $200 would have felt near impossible not that long ago, and now you're doing it with a decent size and strong response rate.

Even reasonably good value at full price, almost $200 off an OLED panel with 1440p resolution and a snappy 180 Hz refresh rate makes this a contender for one of the best priced QD-OLED monitors out there. It is not as cheap as it was recently, though.
