The sixth book in Sarah J. Maas' ACOTAR series is nearly here after years of waiting. A Court of Splintered Harmony is set to release on Tuesday, October 27 and romantasy fans are bracing for another bestseller.
If you haven't already preorderd your copy of the book, there's still time to do so. Preorders for the Target Exclusive version may have already sold out, but there's plenty of copies of the hardcovers elsewhere. And if you're just looking to access the story as soon as it's available, the eBook and Audible formats are launching at the same time as the physical books.
Where to Buy Hardcover Editions
If you're looking to buy the hardcover edition of A Court of Splintered Harmony, the overall best deal right now is at Amazon. The book is already getting a 30% discount when you buy online, which is $10 less than what you'll find at Barnes & Noble. Both Target and Books-A-Million are completely sold out of preorder copies of the books, so that limits your options if you're hoping to buy ahead of the book's release date.
In general, Amazon is always the best place to buy books at a discount before they actually launch. The only reason you might want to choose the Barnes & Noble route is related to when you'll be able to get the book. Amazon is currently mentioning shipping delays and it will only get worse as the release date approaches. If you purchase from Barnes & Noble, you may be able to opt to pick it up in the store on October 27.
Where to buy the eBook
If you are already planning on reading the digital version of this book, there are a few options available. Once again, Amazon's Kindle Store has the best possible deal. You can grab the Kindle edition of the book for $16.99 ahead of its release. For those who already have a Kindle Unlimited subscription, it's very unlikely that this book will be included with your subscription any time soon.
A Court of Splintered Harmony on Audible
If you prefer to listen to your favorite romantasy series in audiobook form, the good news is the audio version of the book is releasing at the same time as everything else. The overall best deal on the audiobook is at Amazon where you can preorder it for $16.29. You can also get it for free when you sign up for a free trial of an Audible subscription.
For those who would rather wait for the full-cast audiobook, you'll unfortunately have to wait quite a bit longer. The dramatized adaptation of the book is currently set to release on December 23, almost a full two months after all other formats release. Details on whether or not the original voice actors from the previous versions will be returning have yet to be revealed.
Tabletop Adaptations and Merchandise
The launch of the new Sarah J. Maas book is a big deal, but this time around it's more than just a book. There's a ton of ACOTAR merchandise that you can now buy, from plushies to jewelry. If your love for the series goes beyond the pages, there's plenty of other items to check out right now.
