If you could use more storage on your Nintendo Switch 2 – and who among us couldn't? – here’s a deal for you. Amazon is offering a 512GB MicroSD Express card from Samsung for $99.99. The card normally costs $149.99, but you get a $50 discount at checkout, bringing it down to just under a hundred bucks. This is the best deal right now on extra Switch 2 storage.

It's easy to miss if you don't follow such things, but the Nintendo Switch 2 is only compatible with microSD Express cards – not standard microSD cards like you probably used on your original Switch, or Steam Deck, or other handheld device. MicroSD Express cards have much faster read/write speeds, and the Switch 2 takes advantage of that, which means standard microSD cards won’t cut it in this high-tech age.
In the age of 4K graphics, video games take up more space now than ever before. And since the Switch 2 only comes with 256GB of onboard storage, and even many physical games require downloads, you’re likely to run out before long. For instance, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth takes up nearly 100GB of that space, and that's just one game!
That means you’ll probably want to add more storage sooner rather than later.
