Rockstar Games have released a new background patch for GTA Online according to dataminer Tex2. As part of the recent Event Week which contains Halloween content, Rockstar made a background update involving some of the seasonal
The company have also continued to respond to various issues which came as part of this summer’s GTA Online DLC. The Kortz Center Heist has had a bunch of bugs which Rockstar are still squashing. A way to get access to modded cars has also been patched.
Background updates from Rockstar fix issues without the need of downloading an update. It is all handled server side. This is a routine occurrence after a new GTA Online update so nothing out of the ordinary here.

Patch Notes
The recent background update patch notes for October 7th have been shared by TexFunz2:
- Fixed an issue that resulted in players being displaced when using the Nightclub office computer
- Fixed an issue that resulted in zombies spawning inside buildings during the Cayo Perico Survival
- Updated the Stealth Annihilator fix during The Kortz Center Heist Finale to avoid interfering with its scripted flight playback
- Patched “Invisible Indestructible + Weapons” RC Bandito glitch
- Patched “Director Mode Online Car Drop” glitch
- Patched “Invisible & Off the Radar Casino Penthouse” glitch
