Peacock prices are going up once again.

Starting August 18th, new or returning subscribers will be subjected to raised prices, and on September 17th, current subscribers' rates will increase. The new prices are as follows: Peacock Premium (which includes ads) will be $12.99/month (previously $10.99). Peacock Premium Plus will be $19.99/month (previously $16.99). Peacock Select tier, the cheapest but most restricted Peacock tier, will be $8.99/month (previously $7.99).

This is the platform's fourth price increase in four years, with the last one entering into effect last summer. The timing is interesting, as Comcast stated during its most recent earnings report that Peacock had turned a profit for the first time in the streamer's history. But clearly it wasn't enough, since the price is increasing once more. It shouldn't come as a huge surprise, though; streamers are constantly raising their prices, much to the dismay of users.

There is one potential upside, however: Peacock Premium is being added to YouTube Premium at no extra cost in early 2027. If you use YouTube a lot or already have a YouTube Premium subscription, this will likely be a lot more valuable than simply having a Peacock subscription on its own. As of right now, YouTube Premium is not going to have its price raised as a result of this inclusion, but that could change in the future if the powers that be deem it so.
