The Miami Heat have teamed up with Rockstar Games for a special event. The NBA franchise is being renamed to Vice City for one night only.
In a announcement posted to social media, Miami Heat reveal they are swapping their colours and name for the neon pink vibes of Vice City.
On November 18th (on the eve of GTA VI’s release), Vice City will play against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Kaseya Center on a special “never-before-seen court” that is themed around Vice City. Currently, a sign saying “Welcome to Vice City” can be seen on top of the arena and lights up at night. Here’s a tease what the court will look like:
“One court, one night only: The HEAT play on special hardwood built for Vice City.”
Furthermore, fans can expect “special programming, live events, activities, and other unique game night activations” in and around game day. The team will also play in “all-new uniform” as part of this collaboration with Rockstar Games. Stay tuned for more updates right here at RockstarINTEL.
The team’s uniform will be revealed at a later date. All we have right now is this teaser image.
The game kicks off at 7pm ET and tickets to be in the arena and watch this live can be purchased via Ticketmaster. Are you going to see it? Let us know down in the comments section below!
