Marvel Comics made some big announcements during the publisher's "Bullpen Bulletins! With Stephen Wacker" panel. The newly minted editor-in-chief revealed several big projects for early 2027, including a brand-new ongoing Captain Marvel series and the milestone issue Daredevil #700.

The new volume of Captain Marvel will be written by G. Willow Wilson, whom Marvel fans will best remember as the co-creator of current Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan. This time, Wilson is turning her attention to Kamala's mentor, Carol Danvers, who is facing a dark new status quo following the destructive events of Avengers: Armageddon.

Captain Marvel will be illustrated by Rachael Stott (Fantastic Four). Here's the official summary for the series:

Following the cataclysmic events of Avengers: Armageddon, Carol Danvers finds herself grounded like never before. To rise again, Carol will have to challenge everything she thought she knew about being Captain Marvel—and break every rule along the way. And as she pushes herself further, a threat that has been quietly assembling in the shadows of the Marvel Universe for decades is finally ready to make its move.

Look for Captain Marvel #1 to debut in May 2027.

As for Daredevil, the series will reach its 700th issue in March 2027. That oversized issue will feature a main story by regular series writer Stephanie Phillips and artist Lee Garbett, along with a new cover by Daredevil veteran David Mack.

Also during the panel, Marvel teased the climactic finale of a major Uncanny X-Men storyline called "Soul Deep," as well as a spinoff miniseries called X-Men: Regulators. Regulators is written by Mikki Kendall and drawn by Georges Jeanty and will debut in February 2027. You can see covers for these and the other books featured in the panel below:
