Rockstar Games have detailed their brand new system dedicated to sweating in GTA 6.
As part of a new video report by Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, developers at Rockstar expressed their desire to create the most realistic systems as possible. These systems are on a whole new level taking extensive time to research and develop. This is one of the reasons why Grand Theft Auto VI took so long to make. Schreier says this level of detail is absolutely a top reason behind the lengthy development process.
He went over a few things we already knew but he then shared a new one. From the game’s screenshots and trailers, it was obvious the sweat on characters would look more realistic. However, we were not aware at how the system would work. Now we know and he’s a direct quote from Jason after speaking with Rockstar staff:

“Sweat. They have a system, a specific scripted system in the game that will make it so Lucia or Jason or whoever will exert different amounts of sweat depending on how much effort they’re putting in to like if they’re dancing extra hard in the nightclub, they will sweat more than if they are not. Which I think shows you the level of detail they put into this game.”
