How good are you at UNO? This year, toy company Mattel is announcing the UNO World Championship Series, which will take the fast-paced card game to the world stage with a $50,000 grand prize.

Fancy your chances? Taking a shot at the tournament is as easy as joining in via the UNO! Mobile app, or turning up to in-person qualifiers to be held across the country in Orlando (October 3), Chicago (October 10) and Los Angeles (October 17).

Successful contestants will then compete on the world stage in the UNO World Championship grand final, broadcast live from L.A. on November 11, and available to watch globally via Twitch.

If the honor of being crowed the first UNO World Champion isn't enough of a draw (pun intended), then the $50,000 prize money will likely sweeten the deal (sorry).

"At its core, UNO has always been about creating unforgettable moments around the table from epic comebacks to game-changing Draw 4s," Katie Buford, VP and Global Head of Mattel Games said. "The 2026 UNO Championship Series Tournament brings that excitement to the biggest stage yet, giving fans around the world a front-row seat as elite players battle it out to become this year's UNO champion."

Can't make it to L.A.? No worries. If you want to up your UNO game to the championship level then Mattel is launching a range of prize-worthy products for you to play with at home. These include the UNO Championship Series Tournament Set ($19.99) which includes a snazzy UNO set, scoring pad and gold trophy.

A separate UNO Championship Series Belt ($19.99) will also be available, as will a Championship Series Card Shuffler ($19.99). For the pros, the UNO Championship Series Expanded Tournament Set ($27.99) is the ultimate offering, with a more robust gold trophy for the champ.
