Benjamin Burnley, lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Breaking Benjamin, took five minutes during a concert in Holmdel, New Jersey, to rant about his feud with a fellow Fallout 4 modder.

If you didn’t know Benjamin Burnley was a big gamer, now you do. He announced this information during a concert on Sunday, September 6, revealing that he’s an “amateur modder” for Skyrim and Fallout 4.

Lately, he’s been beefing with a fellow modder over a mod he recently created for Fallout 4 that allows users to play the game in first-person. He thinks it’s a pretty solid mod — but the other guy just doesn’t see the vision.

His spiel was caught on video by a fan at the concert, who posted footage of the moment on Reddit under the name ‘im_all_ears.’

“I just made a mod that makes it so that when you’re in first-person, you stay in first-person. You see your body in first-person. You go to your workshop area in first-person, and third-person still works. So, I want you to go and download that f**kin’ mod,” Burnley began.

“More importantly, I wanna tell you why I’m doing this. There was a modder — so, there’s like a clique, there was a modder in the community that was really mean to me and bullying me and saying, ‘Oh, you mod is sh*t, you don’t know what you’re f**kin’ doing, so I'm doing this every fucking night, and blowing his fucking downloads out of the water. Please help me destroy this f**kin’ jerk. I’m not even gonna say his name, but he’s a d**k, and f**k him.”

Production even posted the name of the mod on the venue’s big screen, along with Burnley's Nexus Mods username: “True First Person Mod by killemloud.”

“Even if you don’t play that game, go download it. It’s on Nexus Mods,” he urged. “And tomorrow, I better see all those downloads going up. …This is for people who love mods. I’m uploading the update for it. You know, when you post a mod, you’re supposed to be able to grow and learn, and make it better. And right off the bat, this f**kin’ a**hole was s**tin’ on my mod, and he ain’t lettin’ me update it. So that’s what happened.”

While there were quite a few gamers in the crowd who couldn’t get enough of this humorous feud, one or two vocal fans yelled at Burnley to “play some music” rather than rant about Update 1.2 for his first-person mod. The entire spiel took nearly five minutes, and it has since gone viral across social media for the reasons you might expect.

“No way Ben makes Fallout 4 mods, that's insane lol,” one wrote on Reddit.

“Benjamin Burnley makes gaming mods?! The f**k? That’s awesome!” another said.

Breaking Benjamin was also famously featured in Halo 2, but there’s oodles of celebrity gamers out there; most recently, Obsession star Inde Navarrette went viral for having a Twitch channel, where she streamed games in the Call of Duty series and story-based titles like The Last of Us, while Samara Weaving — recently cast as Emma Frost in Marvel’s upcoming X-Men movie — received praise for being such a hardcore gamer that she takes her PlayStation 5 with her on the road while she’s filming movies.
