UK retailers and Amazon have already started slashing prices across a wide range of gear, including record-low drops on the Nintendo Switch 2, massive savings on Philips personal care tech, discounted Magic: The Gathering bundles, and high-performance Corsair PC peripherals.

Early Prime Day Deals On Philips Tech
You don't have to wait until next month and Prime Day for more deals on Philips products, from toothbrushes to razors and shavers. If you’re a Prime member at Amazon, you’ll be able to enjoy a whole host of discounts come that date, but even if you’re not, we’ve spotted some handy deals to help you beat the rush.
This top deal is a doozy, and one I had to refresh just to make sure it’s not one I dreamt up. The Philips Sonicare 5300 is a sonic toothbrush that offers up to seven times better plaque removal than your standard, non-sonic toothbrush, but the white model is seeing a discount that actually makes it cheaper than some of the Sonicare models that aren’t quite as premium.
It’s now £63 down from £179.99, marking a whopping 65% discount for a product that’ll have a huge impact on your dental hygiene.
Nintendo Switch 2
Despite a price rise at the start of September 2026, Nintendo Switch 2 consoles have just dropped to their lowest price ever in the UK.
Both Smyths and Argos are currently selling the popular console for £354.99, a considerable drop in price compared to the new RRP of £419.99. That's a £65 saving, and a mighty fine deal if I do say so myself. I'm expecting Amazon to price match this for Prime Day, but for now, head to wherever the offer is available near you.
While the following is speculative and unconfirmed, it's not unreasonable to suggest that this could be a clear-out of stock to make way for the new replaceable battery version of the console confirmed to be launching in Europe this Autumn.
Magic: The Gathering
Prime Day is getting closer, and as sure as death and taxes, Amazon’s sales event is likely to feature some great deals on Magic: The Gathering products.
The long-running card game gets regular price cuts in the UK, but they’re never quite as good as the savings in the US. Thankfully, there are still some worth being aware of, including pre-Prime Day deals on sets from 2026 and the popular Final Fantasy Commander precons. Ahead of the big day, here are some of our picks for budget-savvy gamers and PC enthusiasts.
With the caveat that deals are only likely to get even better come Prime Day, the first deal that caught our eye was Corsair’s Sabre v2 Pro mouse.
