Famous artists such as Bad Bunny and Lana Del Rey have been confirmed as radio hosts in GTA 6. Plus, more details have been revealed about the game’s music system.
As part of a new webpage dedicated to the music and radio stations of Grand Theft Auto VI, the company have put out a few minutes of radio station talk and music. This has confirmed the games of 6 different radio stations plus their hosts plus some of their tracks.
Rockstar also confirm “a series of on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia to experience beyond Leonida’s terrestrial radio, with both radio and podcasts available to listen to in vehicles and on foot through newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones” which has been long requested by fans.
You can see all of the radio stations, hosts and descriptions below.
Cocoteo FM: Cocoteo FM is Leonida’s home for the best of modern Latin music. Hosted by El Martillo (Bad Bunny) and La Gata (RaiNao) and featuring everything from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton — Cocoteo FM is el party que nunca se apaga.
Back Country Radio: MW (Morgan Wallen) and Delta Dawne (Lana Del Rey) blast renegade country music to the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, and beyond. Stay tuned for Back Country’s roving reporter, swamp meteorologist, and Delta’s not-so-secret lover Mud Dog Mike (Del-Rey’s husband, Jeremy Dufrene) checking in from the driver’s seat of his Grassrivers airboat.
AfroBank FM: Turn up the gbedu with Burna (Burna Boy) and Palmsy (Palms Trax), AfroBank FM’s dynamic duo curating the best in African music, from 20th-century classics and undiscovered gems to contemporary sounds like amapiano, 3-step, and more.
The Chamber 106.6: Crushing metal has landed in Leonida. Jump in the pit with DJ Kerry (Kerry King) and DJ Tom (Tom Araya) for classic metal from the ‘80s and beyond as they channel Leonida’s deep metal roots.
Flash FM: The Vice City institution that delivers the best in pop music with Robyn and Alex (Consani) — guaranteed to make you dance no matter where you find yourself in the Goodtime State.
Dirty South Classics: A little southern hospitality from Trick and Trina, blasting regional rap and hip-hop classics. From the beach to the block, nobody reps Leonida and the South like they do.
In other GTA VI news, a Discord campaign with Rockstar has been leaked. Check it out here. Plus, 25 minutes of new footage was leaked. A lot of it showed off a naked Jason and even first person driving.
