Movie lovers, the opportunity to save big money while stocking up on your collection has arrived, even ahead of Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days Sale, which is live October 6 - 7. But alread prices are dropping on a whole lot of items, and Blu-rays and 4K UHD movies are very much among the discounts you'll find. You can save on new and classic films, and everything in between. We're talking about getting 4K UHD Blu-rays for as little as $11 apiece in some cases. And good movies, too. Read on for the details.
2 for $25 on 4K UHD Movies
When 4K movies first go up for preorder, they typically cost in the $35 range. But if you wait a year or two, you can often get them for a significant discount, provided you're willing to hold off for a sale. Just such a sale is live now, offering two 4K UHD movies for $25, bringing the price down to just $12.50 apiece.
Since it's October now, it's fitting that the majority of the movies in this sale are horror or horror-adjacent. We're talking movies like Weapons and Sinners, M3gan and Jaws, Gremlins and Seven. The occasional non-horror movie makes an appearance in the list, movies like The Town and Harry Potter, but even those tend toward darkness. If those kinds of movies appeal to you, now's a good time to fill out your collection.
3 for $33 on 4K UHD Movies
Also live now is a 3 for $33 sale on 4K UHD movies. That breaks down to $11 a pop (assuming you buy three), for films like Superman (2025), The Substance, Shutter Island, American Pie, and a whole bunch more. There's loads of variety in this sale, with all genres checking in. Click through to the full sale to see the options, and then start adding items to your cart.
Even more deals will go live in the wee hours of the night, when the sale officially kicks off. And don't forget: for some deals, you'll need a Prime membership to get the sale price. You can sign up here.
