A couple of new GTA 6 screenshots have been released via a magazine issue that Lucia and Jason grace the cover of.

On Friday, LOVE magazine have revealed an exclusive article and images of Grand Theft Auto VI. Issue 27 will feature interviews with various writers on the game plus Rob Nelson, Co-Studio Head and Head of Development at Rockstar North. Let’s start by taking a look at the new screenshots and cover art:

On top of all that, a snippet from the article has been released. You can read a quote from the head of narrative at Rockstar and other writers below:

“[It’s] a pressure cooker for all kinds of insanity. If you are going to put all this effort into creating a version of today’s world, it has to be more over the top, more insane, more in your face. Otherwise, you could just go outside and live in the real world.

Lucia had to be someone who wanted a better life for herself, and wouldn’t let the obstacles in the way of that life stop her from getting it. There is something hopeful and naïve about going on the run and pushing a crime spree to its limit without worrying about the consequences. Maybe the American dream is more modest now. It’s a house for your family and your loans paid off instead of wild success…Miami and southern Florida are a particular front line for this battle.”

Rupert Humphries, Senior Vice President of Narrative at Rockstar Games

“We wanted both protagonists to be vulnerable, tough, flawed, right sometimes, wrong sometimes, able to learn from each other. That’s what we felt made them authentic, and a great team.”

Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern, Writer, Rockstar Games

“When you are focusing on writing a fully realised person with their own wants, you’re going to get something perfectly imperfect—with clichés, but also undeniably real.”

Alexa D’Agostino, Writer, Rockstar Games

In other related news, a mural is being painted plus Rockstar have teamed up with the Miami Heat for a special collaboration! Learn all about it here.
